Recently, I decided that our little family needed to get a boat. Here’s why…

This is Silver Lake, and its just down the road from our neighborhood. This is a BIG DEAL to us Californians who rarely get to live nearby real, God-made lakes. In case you aren’t familiar with Western Washington, there are lakes like this everywhere. Every time we fly home, I make sure to look out the window when we’re coasting over the Puget Sound area, just to see all of the amazing beauty. And its funny to fly into Burbank, which is littered with chlorinated “lakes” in backyards all over the area. So Cal has some incredible things to see, but these quaint lakes, surrounded by Evergreens and often ignored by native Washingtonians, are a thing of beauty.
So, anyone selling a little boat?

We just sold our sailboat a few months ago. Darn!
