I will try not to bore you with the vast details of our AMAZING anniversary trip to the city, but here are some highlights:
…We were sad to leave Abby, but knew that she would have a wonderful first day away from her parents with her BFF, Jaimie…
…We got to Seattle, and stopped in to look around the humongous R.E.I. and purchase some much needed foot apparel…
…Then we headed to the Elliot Bay waterfront and enjoyed a stroll in some of the best weather we’ve had in a long time…

…Got some yummy food from Anthony’s Fish Bar on Pier 66 (thanks Ken and Carrie for the idea…so good!)…

…Enjoyed a SLOW walk around Pike Place, free of the dirty looks that accompany a stroller…

…Got to chat with artisans and purchase my birthday gift (thank you family for the birthday money), a handmade blown-glass pumpkin (the picture so doesn’t do it justice), which I have wanted since the first day I visited the city. (I am aware that it is, indeed, Summer, but Autumn is right around the corner and it will look great in my pumpkin collection!!!)…

…Strolled to Pioneer Square, where we saw many landmarks, including this art outside of the SAM, and this little bakery…

…And ended up here,

…where Jays fans hugely out cheered the home team, sending their team to victory. Regardless of the game’s outcome, we had a blast…and at the time, the garlic fries were as great as ever.

Thanks for checking in!

Thanks for sharing…xoxoxo
oh…and too bad you guys didn’t eat that day!!
Sounds like you had a lovely day Erin. I agree that it’s not to easy to push a stroller around the market. People don’t really make way for you at all.
[...] be the last to tell you so;-) She captured some pictures of us and our friend (her daughter), Jaimie, at our church picnic a couple of weeks ago, which are a far cry from the high-quality iPhone [...]
