When I found out that I was going to be having a little baby girl, I immediately decided who Abby’s best girlfriend would be…sweet Riley. We actually saw the "girly" ultrasound just as little Riley was meeting her parents for the first time, just a couple floors below at Evergreen Hospital.
So, maybe its not my place to determine who Abby will hang out with, but we like her parents, and she looks like she’ll be a great influence on our little girl. The girls don’t seem too interested in each other, but its just a matter of time before they’re doing each other’s toenails and talking about all the boys at church.
We got to have Riley, her parents, and her grandparents over to our house yesterday for a little BBQ, and I actually caught a glimpse of the girls finally interacting. Abby was begging to get out of her highchair, and little Riley happened to be walking by. She reached up to grab Abby’s hand, and gave her the, "I hear you girl" look. It was pretty stinkin cute.
Recently, Riley and her parents had us over for a "swim party". They are two precious girls…
