sister’s birthday

Standard

While we were at home, we got to celebrate my little sister’s 25th birthday with her. It was wonderful to be able to be WITH her on her birthday, and not just have to sing our traditional off-tune "Happy Birthday" to her over the phone. The morning of her birthday, we met Cara and her boys at the mall for some shopping and lunch. Sharon almost always has a hankerin’ for Red Robin so that’s where we ended up.

Later that evening, we enjoyed a little gathering with friends and family, ate Sharon’s most favorite food (Chinese from Grand China), and watched Abby and Carter put on a show.

Sharon’s birthday was also the first time I got to meet Cara and Jeff’s newest, little Abbott, so my heart was overjoyed on many levels.

Abby wasn’t too keen on me holding the little guy. She’s pretty convinced that she is our one and only…hmmm.

Love you Sis. Thanks for making US feel so welcome on your birthday. Now, stop having birthdays…you’re making me feel old!

to join MASTER GIN..at the piano. Beautifully harmonize in the concierto..(fighting for more seat space…) and feeling the emotion only true musicians know for a fine performance! THEN: let’s play musical chairs, y’all! Ha ha..back to back, they still are winners..on the same seat…remaining friends all the while, but both fierce competitors…applause applause…(even if it was only ABBY! ha) and then the FINALE..enter, baby sir ABBOTT CHARLES GIN! the perfect salutation …! fade out into blissful baby oblivion…

    BRAVO!!! WELL DONE WELL DONE…
