Abby and Zack…if I ever get this blog stuff printed out for you, there’s something you need to know about your Daddy.
There hasn’t been one night since he’s been a father, that he hasn’t tiptoed into your rooms, long after you’ve fallen asleep, to make sure you’re both ok and at peace.
You’ll love knowing this one day…
Am I the only closet numismatist nerd that completed this task? Ten years in the making baby…and all my husband wants to do is eBay it.
Its "Fat Tuesday" of the Mardi Gras season, and yes, if I could be anywhere right now, it would be sitting on the side of a narrow, torn up road, having cheap beads and deblumes thrown at me (for free…if you know what I mean), inhaling humid, stagnant air complete with the smells of diesel fumes, beer, and horse pee. Sound appetizing? Well, You can take the girl out of New Orleans, but the "Big Easy" will always be a part of the girl.
Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez, blog friends!
Not only have I been perpetually sick for 4 months, but when I get a cold, this is how I keep my runny nose under control. I will sit for hours with tissue crammed in my nose, and go to bed with the same. What a wonderful man I have married.
Anyone else as classy as me?
That’s an ongoing debate around our house . . . how to pronounce that seasonal gourd. However you say it, I love me some Harvest decorations . . .
Bet You Didn’t Know…
…that Josh is one of the most talented drummers I have ever seen or heard. But, apparently, he’s also physically stud-like. Runner’s World Magazine’s web site had some very interesting things to say about drummers. One part of the article reads,
"…sports scientists have concluded drummers are comparable in their physical prowess with world-class sportsmen."
Click on the picture for the whole article, and see why Josh is the man.
I was thinking it might be fun for you to hear a little more about Abby’s nutty parents. I’ll create a new category called "Bet You Didn’t Know…", and hopefully you’ll get to learn something new about the Wills‘.
Bet You Didn’t Know…
…that I TiVo "Little House on the Prairie". Even better…my amazing husband will watch it with me AND maybe get a little emotional. That Charles Ingalls gets us everytime!
