I’m Erin. A wife, mommy, blogger with a love for coffee, music, God’s amazing creation, and sacred family days. My blogging story began not too long before I found out that I was going to be a Mommy. My husband and I were living in the Pacific Northwest, and found blogging would be a great way to keep our California family and friends up to speed on our growth and changes. We were incredibly consistant with our videos, pics, and endless posts about our adventures in the Seattle area…specifically the ones that involved our kiddos.

Fast forward a couple years, and I found myself with 2 little ones (one of whom was still nursing), saying goodbye to a cherished group of dear friends, moving back to California, engaging with the uncertainty of my husband’s employment and schedule, working on classes toward finishing my degree, taking a beating from a seemingly perpetual flu season, and settling into our new “normal” in our old hometown of Camarillo, CA.

Fast forward to now, over a year later, and it feels like we have made it through that wave of transition. And in the recent months, after I found myself soaking wet and panting on the shore, it occurred to me that I forgot to allow myself the space and time to process what had just happened. It turns out, I didn’t have an outlet. What’s more, I missed writing. Not necessarily blogging, but the opportunity blogging gave me to share how I was encountering God through life with my husband, kids, grown-up family, church home, nature, news, fellow bloggers, fellow mommies, and on and on and on.

So, here is an attempt at putting thoughts to keyboard to screen, once again. Looking less at the end results, and focusing on the processes involved in partnering, parenting, engaging, interacting, struggling, and loving.
